About stomach ulcers
This occurs when horses have limited movement, an irregular feeding schedule, combined with increased training load, stress and frequent travel, all of which can contribute to stomach problems. Stomach ulcers can cause damage to the stomach lining because there is an imbalance between the production of stomach acid and the protection of the stomach lining. Approximately 60%Ā sport horseĀ isĀ stomach ulcer!
Not only stomach ulcers, but digestive problems have a very negative impact on the performance and well-being of horses. Nutrients can no longer be optimally absorbed by the body.Ā and the horse suffers from stomach pain and weight loss. This applies not only to sport horses, but alsoĀ foals or hobby horses. Gastro + is specially formulated for all horses and ponies that suffer from digestive problems or stomach ulcers.
+Ā Supports normal stomach function. Gastro+ is mixed with a special cocktail of sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, magnesium and additional probioticsĀ in the stomachĀ Neutralizes excess acid. It helps restore the gastric mucosa.
+ Improves performance. Gastro+ is a complete feed with a high specification - amino acids, vitamins (400mg Vit E), trace elements.
+Ā Digestive health. Promotes chewing of food and saliva production. Alfalfa and saliva are nature's defenses against acidity in the digestive tract.
+Ā Anti-inflammatory effect. Contains extra oil with an optimal ratio of omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids, promotes ulcer healing. Also slowly releases energy to achieve optimal performance.

Gastro + is a fully balanced complementary food with a very high dose of vitamins (400mg vit. E), trace elements and amino acids.
Once the intestinal tract has calmed down sufficiently over time, the Gastro + dose can be partially replaced with the original complementary food mixture.
It is recommended, however, to continue feeding Gastro+ once a day (at lunch).
During periods of stress, it is recommended to switch back to a complete Gastro + complementary food (in due time). Stress is the main cause of stomach ulcers and/or digestive problems.
Usage:Ā supplementary feed dose depending on the horse's body weight and workload, feeding from 0.5 kg-0.75 kg per 100 kg of body weight per day
